Lunch with Lynch is partnered with the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #7 - Cape May County
My name is John Lynch and I am the Director of Sales and Entertainment for the Wildwoods Convention Center. Once or twice a month I take my lunch break at Glenwood Avenue School to spend some quality time with the students.
What started out as an opportunity to read a book to the kids has grown into a forum where I have the opportunity to bring in leaders from our community to interact with the students.
Over the years we have had visitors like Moo Moo Evens of the Harlem Globetrotters, Mayor Troiano, my good friend and Wildwood Judge, David DeWeese, representatives from the Wildwood Police & Fire Departments, we have provided rides on the tram car, adventures to the boardwalk, magic shows and have come up with all kinds of fun & educational activities for the students.
It has been a great opportunity to give back to the youth of our community!
At the end of every visit I like to give the students something they can take home with them after my visit. Coloring books, treats, frisbee, beach buckets, anything to brighten up their day and enjoy Lunch with Lynch.

This program would not have been made possible if not for Eileen Burke and Kate Haas, two Glenwood Avenue teachers who introduced me to their school.
